Australian inspired, Bluestone Lane is quickly expanding from the east to the west coast of America and beyond, making a difference to our locals' daily ritual, every day. As General Manager you will be responsible for the overall profitability of the store and delivering a daily escape to our locals. You will drive sales, efficiency and hospitality in the cafe with a high performing stable team, quality food & a beautiful store environment. With keen awareness of the store's financial performance, you will drive store performance in the cafe to maximize and meet sales targets & average customer spend, reduce waste and achieve operational excellence in all store activities. Leading by example, you will display Aussie optimism and energy while building a strong connection with locals. You will train, coach and develop your teammates to deliver the Steps of Service every day.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience as a manager in a quick service or full-service restaurant or 2 years' experience as a Team Captain
  • Experience in a variety of hospitality roles, a passion for service, and an understanding of what is needed to provide a high level of hospitality
  • A passion for working with and developing teams
  • Proven achievement of key performance indicators
  • The ability to work in high-pressure environments while leading and keeping teams calm and focused
  • Strong organizational skills with focused attention to detail
  • Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Demonstration of the 5 Cs of leadership: Competency, Commitments, Courage, Candour & Consistency
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
